Joomla 4.2 Feature und 3.10.11 Security Release

Die Entwickler von CMS Joomla haben den neuen Meilenstein 4.2 veröffentlicht. Der Zweig 3.10 erhielt das erste Security Update 3.10.11 und ist nun im End of Support (EOS), erhält somit bis 17.08.2023 nur noch Security Updates.

      Hi Benny,
      nein bisher habe ich da keine Erfahrungen mit. Steht bei einigen Seiten aber demnächst an. Bekannt steigen allerdings nach und nach auf WordPress um, finden Sie wesentlich übersichtlicher und einfacher, aber das ist ja Geschmacksache. Ich denke die Umstellung muss man einfach im Testsystem durchspielen. Sollten Template, Komponenten, Module, Plugins etc. Joomla 4.x “sprechen”, dann sollte es kein Thema sein. Bei Customcode muss man dann schauen.
