Lenovo bietet den Dock Manager um in größeren Umgebungen die Dockingstation zentral zu verwalten und so z.B. Firmwareupdate zu verteilen. Die Quelle kann hierbei sowohl Lenovo als auch ein lokales Repository sein. Weiterhin ermöglicht es per WMI weitere Daten der Dock zu erfassen und auszuwerten.

[Important updates]
- Fixed issue where docks such as 40AY could not be detected when “Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2022 Redistributable (x64)” was not installed.
- Fixed issue where software could not be updated without connecting a dock.
[New functions or enhancements]
- Allow docks, such as 40AY, to complete firmware updates without needing to disconnect from the computer.(Do not turn this feature on until the dock has been upgraded to a supported firmware version)
- Allow IT manager to hide the update software button.
- Allow Mac Address Clone with 40AF dock.
[Problems fixed]
- Fixed the issue where the latest firmware version could not be displayed when using a local firmware repository.
- Fixed the issue where sometimes there was no update history record and the status line didn’t show the correct message after updating the firmware.
- When a dock’s firmware version (such as 40AY) is abnormal, allow firmware updates to refresh.
